We stopped by for breakfast. It has a very nice garden and decor. Amazing service. We ordered huevos a la mexicana, camarón and pulpo omelette and atun deshumado. All three dishes were superb. The portion size is big enough to share. They accept cash or credit card. The garden was beautiful and a gorgeous fountain that mesmerized my daughter.

I’ve been here many times. The atmosphere is incredible. You’re eating in the midst of a beautiful garden. Food is delicious. Huge buffet! A hidden gem.
It’s a “must go” if in Ensenada

We haven't been here for years and decided to stop, visit with an old friend and enjoy breakfast together. The food is delicious and the service is even better. We like the outdoor dining which is a beautiful setting. The hacienda-like buildings are reminiscent of old México. Additionally our breakfasts were very reasonably priced. We will be back! Provecho.

A beautiful place for a wedding or formal celebration. It is seated near the heart of Ensenada BC Mexico where you can find food and fun... I recommend it to those who want something a bit more classy or are in need of a romantic get away.

UPDATE:
We just had our wedding at the San Angel. They offered an amazing package which all but took the work out of getting the wedding organized.
The accommodations provided were great! It was super convenient and the staff was there to serve. I highly recommend the San Angel for a wedding. My wife and I are 100% satisfied and would absolutely return for other events.

This little old mission is a small hotel and wonderful restaurant set on the corner of Bancarte and 10th. The Angus beef served is flavorful and tender. The staff are attentive and efficient. The outside dining area is set in a covered garden area. Tables are clean, chairs are comfortable and the bar is well tended. I had the Angus beef burger which was served with grilled slices of purple onion, bacon, cheese a thick slice of tomato and peppery greens. The meat was properly cooked and made a huge burger. The fries were made from fresh potatoes and served in a tall conical shaped holder accompanied with a small cup of ketchup. Or you can substitute fruits for the fries. Strolling around the grounds were a colorful peacock and peahen. Both friendly but skittish, they made a wonderful floor show. I recommend this lovely restaurant based on the food as serene atmosphere.
