We had to use this hotel as an emergency and they had same day rooms. I wish it smelled better but el Sauzal always smells bad. So keep your windows closed.

It was nice. So cute. Easy bus access. However, walls are kinda thin you hear people outside, slight tv next door. Showers turning on/off. Shower was GREAT. Bad thing there aren't any places to eat within walking distance.

Good place to relax, close to the beach areas, easy access to hwy,, clean rooms, exercise room, good price, I will stay again.

Stay Away!!! After our party paid for 3 nights for 3 rooms the clerk, Javier, tried to scam us for more money after the first night. Said the owners demanded he collect more for one of the nights. He then told us that one of the rooms would not be available and we'd have to move to another hotel (although we had already paid!). He was very evasive, first it was one room that was not available and then it was a different room. The story changed minute by minuet. We packed up and left. To his credit, he did give us the refund we demanded for the unused nights. Don't stay here!!

This is our 5th time staying here, the rooms are comfortable,clean and a quiet place. Staff is friendly and I love that there is a brewery next door, at walking distance.
