My fiance and I were at first very happy with the price and the rooms. And, by the way, if you're looking for a nice, comfortable room with a good bed, good air conditioning, and good wifi, then this hotel is fine.
It was the rest of the experience that was disappointing. The pool looked somewhat dirty and we never saw anyone using it. The same goes for the mini-pool or jacuzzi on the roof. The worst part of our experience, and what causes me to take off two more stars, was the fact that, over the three days that we were there, they could not get their credit card machine to work. Every single day we were in Durango, we went in to the office to see if we could pay for our stay, and every day they said, don't worry about it, try again tomorrow. On the last day, we needed to sit in the office for an hour while they drew up (on a piece of paper) a note for us to sign, promising to pay remotely when they got their machine back online. It would have been much better if they would have said on the first or second day, "look guys, the machine is not going to work, we're going to need you to pay by cash or check". Then we would have had time to go to the bank and deal with it. So that was a bit stressful.

The breakfasts were so-so, and they were included with the cost of the room.

With all that being said, Durango is such a lovely little town, and there weren't a lot of good options for us in terms of hotels. If you're a tourist worrying about quality, I can at least assure you the room and overall facility is clean and comfortable.

Estuvimos alojados en el hotel. Muy bien cuidado con un estilo antiguo, cuenta con pileta y una buena terraza. Lo malo que por ahora esta a medio gas, el restaurante no funciona y hay que ir a un restaurante que está muy cerca, muy bonito, donde te atienden muy bien. Seguro que con la vuelta del turismo volverá a tener más animación.
