Don't even think about leaving DGO without visiting this place. In my very humble opinion, Doña Pina has the best gorditas. I have visited twice - first time was about 8 years ago, and very few places have come close.. Just look at the patronage. This place stays packed - for good reason. The gorditas are served piping hot and fast - stuffed with a variety of delicious fillings. You have to eat at least two. If you eat three, you need to find a bench in the park and sleep off the food coma! Consider yourself warned!

I used to love their gorditas but this last time, they seemed to have raised the price or made them small.... I'm not quite sure but I remember the gorditas being bigger at a good price a few months back, which wasn't the case this time.
