A must try, 1 order has 3 long shredded beef flautas cut in half and a simple salad on the side, I also prefer going on weekdays when they top them off with a tomato based sauce, weekends is avocado sauce.

This place brought back so many memories of when I used to eat there as a kid with my grandparents. And lemme tell you, the food is still goooooooooood. I was in awe at how many people come in for orders and the staff, working a madre, sacando ordenes y sirviendo al cien! Las flautas riquisimas y claro, con su soda de manzanita, pansa llena corazon contento! The heart is happy when the belly is full!!

best flautas ever I brought some back to Phoenix from my trip in mexico and they were not enough I wish I would of brought more I ran out in 2 day

La Pila serves their flautas with salsa de tomate on weekdays and salsa verde con avocado on the weekends. I had never had the chance to try them with salsa de tomate but oh my goodness they are amazing! And maybe because they were not as busy the flautas were even crunchier and had more veggies on the side! I usually get two orders (4 flautas/order) because one just isn’t enough lol
