Didn’t really come here but it feels like I did since I was at this spot forever waiting to cross the international border. I remember coming o the Chamizal and a kid and I loved it. I can still hear the chicharras singing.

There is an area fenced off on the southeast corner of the park. Dog ???? might be able to let their dog free. To your discretion. Also, many activities available in the park for kids. Pony rides, occasional concerts, shows, food vendors, etc.

Really nice place to take the family for a picnic. They have a museum also that has lots of artifacts found during the construction. Pet friendly and they also have horses you can ride.

Lots to do. It was fun to walk around. They have horses and bikes for renting.

We saw the park from the Tourbus and got off to see the museum in the park. It looked really peaceful and well taken care of. If you want to picnic, this is a wonderful place to do it.
