My wife stayed here a few years ago and thought it was quite acceptable. She liked the brick domed ceilings in all the rooms. As this was our last night in Mexico, we had an early flight we decided it would be a safe bet.
A gentleman helped us with to our room (up one flight of stairs), with our luggage. He showed us the room and vanished before I could top him.
Our room was musky and did not smell clean. The bedding looked old. The bathroom, shower and toilet were clean, however. All the towels provided were tattered and old, at least they were clean .The sink, off the main bathroom smelled like sewage. Finally the door had a two inch gap at the top, that alowed flies and whatever else wanted in. It was crappy sleep. The bed wasn't comfortable. We just need a place to hang for a few hours before our flight. My wife thought her last visit here was better. Maybe we just got the worst room this time. For 700 pesos we probably shouldn't complain.
