The hotel was up on a hill so the views are very good. The hotel is about 27 years old and although it is kept updated, some of the things are not. Our room, for example, has furniture that is a little old (probably the original since it's opening) and the towels were also old. Anyway, this place is nice because of the price. I only paid $80 a night. Lastly, the service at the breakfast area was spectacular. The servers were very attentive.

Old nice is my best description of this place. Great service and the personnel are great. The room was very quiet and the bed very comfortable. The building is a little outdated but you won't be uncomfortable here.

This is a hotel that I have coming to every time I am in Chihuahua for years , but this time is just unbelievable old and rubdown.
The towels are terribly old in rugs, they haven’t done any remodeling and everything in the room and bathroom is deteriorated.
I will not come back, another thing that they used to have was a very good restaurant not any more. I would not recommend this place at all.

The security from the hotel tried to extortion me.. just because I was having a cigarette at the bathroom, they told me to pay a quota for damages, that I could not pay with visa or Mastercard, it had to be cash...(wonder why)...
Also once I told them to charge my card and that there was a process for that, since I didn't wanted to pay, they called the cops, and Mexican police was outside my room screaming they were going to take me to jail...I still refused to give them any money and decided to go ahead leave the premises and rent another hotel instead of helping with corruption and dishonest people...I understand that what I did was wrong, but obviously this people saw an opportunity to make some money...

They try but no cigar. They fail at everything. You can tell it is an old hotel it is not very clean and the room furniture is old. The dresser/tv cabinet was cracked all over. The entire week we were there they would not replace the towels they would just take the used ones even if we did not place them on the floor. They would leave coffee for only one person when the room was booked for four. Even calling every day they never fixed the issue. I am a Platimum Bonvoy(Marriot) member and they could care less. I should be able to have a late check out depending on availability but they offered if I would pay for half a day. So they had the space they just chose to make more money. I explained my status and they gave me 1hr. The kitchen/restaurant was also poorly stocked half of the menu items could not be ordered because they did not have the ingredients. I was a horrible stay. I will say some of the staff try and are helpful but in conversations with a couple they kinda hinted that the hotel has nosedived since Sheraton took it over.

It's small details they missed like no soap or toilet handle had to be held to flush. But not bad overall. The staff really seems to care.

AVOID THIS HOTEL!!!
This is a very expensive and very old Hotel, if you want an overpriced luxury room from the 80s with very poor service this might be your knack

I was given a room that I did not reserve (more expensive), from the person at the front desk with a terrible attitude, and was constantly bothered by the staff about my checkout hour (like I wanted to stay any longer...), I'm not staying again here.
