Paqui Bed and Breakfast

Had a really fantastic time in Paqui hostel. It’s a little out of the centre but it’s fairly easy to get around anyway. Really comfortable beds and hot water in the shower. They provide a hot breakfast each day as well to start you off which is excellent! It’s quite a relaxed hostel which is very much in the theme of the city itself. Highly recommend staying here for anyone passing through! Manuel’s dog can also be found roaming around the hostel which makes for a lot of fun!

This is a strange place. Not bad, just a little unorganized. No one to greet you. No one to tell you the rules. No one to explain how breakfast or the kitchen works. No one to explain where the shower is or how to get a towel. No one to explain how to get internet or what the password is.

But then again the price is right, and I was just looking for a place to sleep and a warm shower. So no real complaints.

In all fairness, the story that I heard was the owner was sick and was not there. Without him, the place kind of falls apart.

You can find better facilities and better service elsewhere. But you probably won't find a better price.

Quiet and clean hostel. Breakfast is good and has cold (cereals, bread,...) and hot (beans, egg,...) options. The lower bathroom could be in better shape. There might be not enough space when it's fully booked. When I was here just a few guests were there.

This is arguably the best hostel I have stayed in, after staying in countless hostels and hotels alike all over the world. The two guys that run the place are incredible. The neighborhood is nice, grocery store nearby, and is more a house than a hostel. Best accommodations in Chihuahua!

We arrived late at night by train but were welcomed as soon as we rang the doorbell. The host had mistakenly let another couple stay an extra night in the room we booked so the first night we agreed to stay in an otherwise empty dorm room instead of a private room. This was fine since all we wanted to do was sleep. The next day we got an upgrade for the rest of our stay into an even better room as compensation.

The dorm was small but comfy, the AC came on in the evening meaning the room was nice and cool during the night.
The room we stayed in after, the superior room, was big, with a high ceiling and huge bed. The ensuite bathroom was also pretty big and had a jacuzzi as well as looking quite fancy.

The breakfast in the morning is really nice, theres Orange Juice, coffee, water and milk to drink and scrambled eggs with mashed potato, frijoles and tortillas if you wanted mexican breakfast or just bread or cereal for those less adventurous.

The staff is really nice, helpful and always available.

One thing to note is that this Bu0026B is still pretty new so not all the taxis know how to find it, a simple google maps search shows you right where it is though so you can show the driver that if necessary.

Showed up late at night. I asked for the smallest room available. To my surprise I was upgraded free of charge to a large room with, king size bed and jacuzzi. Breakfast in the morning was good and warm.
