We had a blast diving with Squalo! Juan told us about all the dive sites that we available, then when we opted for the wreck and cenotes he recommended we use Nitrox to have more bottom time and it was totally worth it! The cenotes Juan chose for us were BEYOND AMAZING - otherworldly, wonderful, haunting and breathtaking. Alex was an awesome guide and showed us all the things to see there and even took some videos of us on our GoPro. Photos don't captute half of it, but they give you an idea. We really appreciated that they don't take large groups, so we could enjoy the dives without crowds.

My husband also took the nitrox course since he wasn't certified and honestly Juan gave him such an interesting and exhaustive lecture that one might think he was studying an instructor course))

So overall I wholeheartedly recommend diving with Squalo!!!

We dove with squalo divers two days in a row and we had a great time on both days!

The ocean dives with Juan and Alex were exciting, where we saw a lot of underwater creatures.

The cenote dives with Alex is AMAZING! Alex is knowledgeable and always prepared! He made the dives full of pleasant surprises. Gracias Alex!

My partner and I went diving for a week with Squalo Divers in Cancun, and it was one of the best experiences of our lives. We went diving almost every day with the crew at Isla Mujeres, Puerto Morelos, Cozumel, and at Cenote Dos Ojos. The crew were wonderful, and I feel like we had the best training and experience possible while we were there.

We started off with the PADI Open Water course. My partner had extreme anxiety on the first open water dive, and was close to giving up, but Carla, Alex, and Isaac supported her so she was able to complete the first dive and continue. By the end of our dive-intensive trip, we were both able to safely and confidently dive in more advanced situations.

Juan, the owner of the shop, focuses on training his staff as well as possible, and it shows. Everyone is professional, passionate, and talented. In addition to their competence, everyone at the shop was fun to be around. We spent almost all of our free time on the trip diving, and finished our Advanced Open Water Certifications by the end.

If you are new to diving, or looking for a spectacular experience as a more experienced diver, I highly recommend Cozumel for the quality of the reefs, the drifts, and the wall at the edge of the reef. The place is teeming with life. And if you're more adventurous and want to be transported to a completely different world, dive in the Cenotes, caverns with ancient geological formations and fossils illuminated by streaks of sunlight piercing the water from above.

Six stars out of five. I look forward to diving with this crew again in the future, and I'm infinitely thankful for how they imparted their diving knowledge upon us, and introduced us to a completely new world.

The Dive Shop arranged everything from our hotel pick up to dive equipment to our dive and transportation back. I was a little skeptical when we arrived at the dive shop. It is not your "fancy" Aquaworld (which I had a previous bad experience.) The Squalo Dive shop is in town and was a short ride to a yacht club to get our boat and is much closer to the bay for a much shorter boat ride to the dive! The staff was very personal and knowledgeable. They even took some of the best diving pictures I have to date and emailed them to me right after the dive! Safety is a huge concern and they were in contact on our visit with the bay authorities and made sure the winds were acceptable. The boat had a long deep ladder for reentry which made it easier for my 60 yr. old body! Again, I cannot say enough of how professional and courteous the staff was and they made a windy day dive very pleasurable. Thanks to Juan and his staff!

We did the PADI bubblemaker when on holiday in the area. The guys in the shop were quick to respond to queries amd extremely helpful. Very professional and well run dive centre. I'm already planning to return and dive with them on an upcoming trip. 5/5

It was an amazing experience. Juan is very professional and cool at the same time. The whole team is very good. They will make sure you have the best experience possible while also ensuring it is safe. The pictures they take are just spectacular. I highly recommend them.

It was the best first scuba diving experience the family can wish for. Lead instructor Juan was extremely details oriented during the training and during the dive.
Company took us to the very secluded place where the most of the tourists don’t go. The dive was awesome and the reef was just surreal!!! My daughter 15 and son 13 got a blast.
Alex and Juan were there every step of the way.
Best Best Best Company in Cancun!!!
