We booked a room in n Cancún -Punta me Suite. Yesterday we checked in and the room is absolutely different than we have booked and have seen on the photo on booking. com!!! It is very old , dirty , small , bad smell, old ac, broken floor , toilet doesn’t flashing , mattress is old and te springs are coming out . Garden view is trash view , the beach is not cleaned and broken sun beds , there is noise of the construction and there is the way through roof of our room .
We asked the staff of the place to change our room but they answer: “it’s not our problem , it’s a mistake of the Booking.com and contact booking.com”. And they say if we want better room we have to pay extra.
when we turned to the booking.com for help, they didn’t help us in any way, they told us that the hotel didn’t have a room for which we had paid, but they refused to return the money to us, because our tariff was “non-refundable”. It turns out that it is booking.com places false information on its website, their site allows you to book rooms that the hotel does not have and then does not take a responsibility for this. And the Punta Me Suite hotel generally deceives guests and simply collects money from them, not caring about the reputation, about the guests, or about the information they provide for booking.com
Our vacation ruined! Never come to this hotel!
