Apparently we visited a new (or different) location as some reviews post seaside photos. The location on Av. Rodrigo Gómez is inland, but nicely done, clean and spacious, and has enough greenery around it to feel good.
A "manager's choice" of shellfish was absolutely fresh, delicious, and the suggested house-mixed sauce made it ever more better. A variety of flavors - from nuanced to stronger - just enjoy. Not cheap, this is not a cheap place to begin with, but you absolutely get your experience worth the expense. We had a selection for two people and it was plentiful.
Next was Pulpo En Costra De Tres Chiles. The wide range of textures is awesome. From harsh-grilled tentacle tips to nice and soft meaty parts - still in the grilled salsa crust. It extended to the creamy potatoes which very surprisingly were a high-end treat by themselves. Both salsa and octopus flavors unmistakably stand out and draw your attention.
Tacos Barra Brava Mar Y Terra was an extra which we got as a recommendation. For two people we should have not ordered it - the meal was big already. But... The tacos were so good. And the bone marrow just made them rich and rounded and absolutely irresistible. A note: bone marrow takes a while to prepare as a technology requirement, Plan about 25-30 min for this dish.
Well worth an evening and a taxi ride from any part of Cancun. They take Visa, AmEx, contactless Google Pay.
