This hotel was 5/5. At check in the night staff was very professional and accommodating. Give us a breakdown of everything that was available at the hotel including fitness center, taxi service and breakfast time including some of the things to try at the buffet. Arranged transportation for us for the next day and things to do while in Acapulco. Although the breakfast staff were not friendly my experience with the night staff made my stay worth 5 star rating. EXCELLENT NIGHT STAFF.

Bad experience, unfortunately.
I was attending a Mining Show during the day; my wife stayed in the Hotel, relaxing.
One of those days, she was having Breakfast and went to the restroom. One of the staff members saw her and the alarms sounded like if she would go away without having to pay or sign the check, making her feel like a thief. When she got back the waiter and the Lady at the Cashier, acclaimed to her the lack of the payment or signature. My wife let them know what she did and certainly, signed right away getting angry and telling to them we were staying for almost the complete week and have not the need to left the place as a Thieves. She had the plan to work in the restaurant for a while, after her Breakfast. No apologizes or attitude to compensate their "concern" for a ten Dollar's Breakfast, received at the time of the event or during the following days.
The days after, she was having breakfast with me and my Daughter and the staff didn't make her feel as It was a misunderstanding. They acted like if nothing happened before. My wife shared the experience during our last breakfast and I decide to wait for this time to express our disappointment on their attitude. This is our first experience after many year to travel around the World and happened precisely in our own Country. Pretty well the rest of the Staff.

We came here for a Bridge Tournament and the management of the Hotel was not cooperative at all. They denied help and service
We will try not to use this venue again...

My name is tamour Ali. Me and my wife stayed at the hotel inn la Isla in acapulco from 12/16/21 to 12/18/21. When we arrived there, the front desk tells me that the rooms does not have a small refrigerator. Then I asked the front desk staff to include the breakfast with the fees I paid for two nights. After paying the fees the front desk staff gives me the keys and I asked him if he included the breakfast with the fees I paid for and HE SAID YES. Next day in the morning, when me and my wife went to the breakfast lounge for breakfast. The staff initially tells us that yes my name was on the list for breakfast. My wife and I asked the staff if we can take the food to our room to eat over there since there was too many people inside the breakfast lounge. They initially said yes, then later said no. After serving us the breakfast on our plates, the lady at the kitchen staff tells us that our breakfast is not included in the fees I paid. So I went to the front desk staff to complain about what was going on, and apparently the front desk lady said that our breakfast was not included and demanded that I pay for the breakfast. All the holiday inns I stayed at in mexico and in the U.S.A. ALWAYS included the breakfast in the Reservations. When we were in Ciudad juarez, we HAD NO ISSUE with our stay at the holiday Inn over there. Here at this Holiday inn la Isla in acapulco was the complete opposite. Bottom line is that me and my wife was not allowed to eat the breakfast at the hotel and NO ONE in the hotel offered ANY help to us to get breakfast or food which left us super hungry and frustrated. We were extremely angry and disappointed with our stay in holiday inn la Isla in Acapulco, Guerrero. I will not recommend Anyone to stay at this hotel with the experience we had at this hotel
