Recently redesigned and rededicated in 2017, this statue is literally unmissable - it is in the main strip of Acapulco. The statue towers over everything on a curved base. At night it is lit up in ever changing colors, and occasionally the fountains are on.
A pretty sight, but not worth a special trip. The sculptures choose the theme of Diana, the Roman Goddess of the hunt, but to gave it a Mexican characteristic: this goddess is not hunting beasts in the woods with her bow, but rather the stars of the northern skies. It also coincidentally points to Mexico City, the source of most tourists.

The place is at a roundabout intersection and it's well taken care of.
The traffic is terrible and therefore not recomended for selfies.

No need to Get out of the car, you can see it just fine driving by. It used to have a fountain, it was redone a couple of years ago, modernized.
